Safiya bint Houyay (arabe : صَفيَّة بِنْت حُيَي) est née vers 610 à Yathrib (devenue ensuite Médine), et morte entre 661 et 670. Elle s'est convertie à l'Islam et fut la onzième épouse [1] de Mahomet en l'an 7 de l'hégire.
Safiyya bint Huyayy (Arabic: صفية بنت حيي Ṣafiyya bint Ḥuyayy) was a Jewish woman from the Banu Nadir tribe. After the Battle of Khaybar in 628, she was widowed and taken captive by the early Muslims and subsequently became Muhammad's tenth wife.
