  2. The need: Lots of street kids have nowhere to go and are living on the street, begging. Solution: We are helping these street kids by creating jobs for them - crushing rocks, or delivering coal - and the money that they make allows them to buy their own food and a place to live.

  3. Each street child has its own destiny and its own story. The following stories sent by Member Organizations of the European Federation for Street Children (EFSC), illustrate such destinies giving a voice to these children who are often invisible

Children across the world are left homeless and forced onto the streets to fend for themselves due to numerous reasons, primarily poverty, war, previous violence and abuse, exploitation, and desperation. Once on the streets, children can become further trapped in new and repeated cycles of poverty, crime, maltreatment, and neglect.
