Flex-Able is the debut studio album by American virtuoso guitarist Steve Vai. This was his first as a solo artist, and was created in Stucco Blue, a shed converted into a studio in Vai's old back garden.
Flex-Able 36th Anniversary Release is out now! Well, it’s been more than 36 years since Flex-Able was released but when I decided to do this it was 36 years old, eh. I love this crazy little record and wanted to get one final up-to-date mastering done by Bernie Grundman himself who is perhaps the greatest vinyl mastering engineer in the business.

By the way, there are 4 different versions of Flex-Able released in Europe. The only difference is a slight edit I made to each of the mother masters. I did this for all the hard core neurotic collectors.
