  2. Timaru Boys' High School (also known as TBHS), established in 1880, is a single sex state (public) secondary school located in the port city of Timaru, South Canterbury, New Zealand. TBHS caters for years 9 to 13 (ages 12 to 19 years).

  4. Timaru Boys’ is a school that values learning in all its forms, from the traditional academic disciplines, to trades based technologies and skills. We have a flexible and responsive curriculum that is designed to help all students reach their potential.

  5. Enrolment. Timaru BoysHigh School welcomes students from Timaru and the wider Aoraki region. Enrolment forms for day boys are due in mid-August of the preceding year. Applications for boarders should be submitted as early as possible, but no later than 28 February of the preceding year.

  6. At Timaru BoysHigh School we aim to prepare our students for future tertiary and vocational opportunities and to provide international students with the necessary qualifications and fluency in English to succeed in their chosen career.
