The campus overlooks the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains within the Hudson River Historic District —a National Historic Landmark .
Bard College is a 160-year-old institution that offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. It has a 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio, a diverse and international student body, and a global network of campuses and affiliates.
