Buddy Guy and Junior Wells first run through an extremely well done set. Then as a bonus, Jimmy Johnson, Eddie Clearwater, Dave Myers, and Andrew Odom each take a turn at the mike while also backing each other. Jimmy Johnson, in his prime, plays tasteful lead and backing throughout this set.
Eddy Clearwater, yet another inductee, becomes the “Hoochie Coochie Man” for five pulsatile minutes. However, a better soapbox for his guitar comes when channeling the agitation that goads Andrew “Big Voice” Odom into validating his nickname with “I Don’t Know,” a highly disgruntled kiss-off.
