Ḥantamah bint Hishām (Arabic: حنتمة بنت هشام) was the mother of Umar ibn al-Khattab and wife of Khattab ibn Nufayl. She lived during the 6th century and was a contemporary of the Islamic prophet Muhammad .

29 juin 2021 · Hantamah bint Hāshim ibn al-Mugheerah was the wife Al-Khattāb ibn Nufayl and the mother of Ameer al-Mu’mineen, Umar ibn Al-Khattab. She was the paternal cousin of Abu Jahl ibn Hishām, but some have said she was the sister of Abu Jahl with the former being the most popular view amongst historians.
