Dahir al-Umar al-Zaydani ou Ẓāhir āl-'Umar az-Zaydānī (en arabe : ظاهر آل عمر الزيداني), né en 1689/1690 à Arraba, mort le 21 août 1775 à Acre, est un chef arabe du Sud de la Syrie ottoman.
Zahir al-Umar al-Zaydani, alternatively spelled Daher al-Omar or Dahir al-Umar (Arabic: ظاهر العمر الزيداني, romanized: Ẓāhir al-ʿUmar az-Zaydānī, 1689/90 – 21 or 22 August 1775), was an Arab ruler of northern Palestine in the mid-18th century, while the region was part of the Ottoman Empire.
Dahir Al-Umar (1689 -1775) cheikh de la tribu arabe des Zaydani, originaire de la région du lac de Tibériade, commence sa carrière comme multazim ou collecteur d'impôts à l'exemple de son grand père et de son père investis dans ce service par les émirs Maan du Mont-Liban.
Le premier, Dahîr al-Umar du clan des Zaydäni avait établi son pouvoir sur la charge de mültezim16 ou fermier de l’iltizâm17 des douanes qui lui fut octroyée officiellement en 1746. Sa fonction lui conférait des pouvoirs de police et de justice sur son district.
Zahir al-‘Umar al-Zaydani (1690-1775) was arguably the best-known provincial leader in the Syrian provinces of the Ottoman Sultanate to establish an autonomous regime in northern Palestine.

Ḍāhir al-ʿUmar ( c. 1737–75) dominated the political life of northern Palestine for nearly 40 years. Aḥmad al-Jazzār, the Ottoman governor of Acre, had control of most of Palestine, and in 1799, with English and Ottoman help, he successfully defended Acre against Napoleon I.
