Dancin' on the Edge is second solo studio album by English/American rock musician Lita Ford. It was her final release with Mercury Records, as she departed to sign with RCA Records in 1987. The album was a moderate commercial success, reaching No. 66 of the US Billboard 200 chart.

Fort d'un premier galop d'essai, "Out For Blood", sinon totalement réussi au moins assez convaincant, Lita Ford revient dès l'année suivante avec dans son soutien-gorge ce "Dancin' On The Edge" en tout point supérieur à son aîné.
Si “Out for Blood”, le premier album solo de Lita Ford, fut plus mémorable pour sa pochette que pour son contenu, il avait néanmoins réussi à imposer son image de Hard Rockeuse dans un paysage métallique 1983 encore bien pauvre en représentantes du sexe faible.
