The second film, Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, was released in August 2021. The third film, Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind, was released on October 11, 2022.

16 juin 2024 · Quan Chi is set to appear in a live-action Mortal Kombat film for the first time ever, despite his 28-year-old deleted. A deleted scene from Mortal Kombat: Annihilation featured Quan Chi meeting with Shinnock in another realm, presumably teasing a third film.
