  1. 5 juil. 2024 · Our 2024 CDT SOBO adventure begins at the Canadian border in Glacier National Park. It’s as rough as it’s beautiful. Lots of snow, lots of wind, many ticks. We get false charged by a moose, get sunburned, traverse many sketchy snowfields, and cross ice-cold rivers.

There are no rivers or lakes here, so make sure you have enough reserves of drinking water before attempting this section of the trail.

  6. Il y a 6 jours · Right by Mariah’s pass trailhead there is a campground that is closed for the season. But a few hikers were there hanging out when we arrived. It was the perfect place to set up for the night if you were on foot. The next closest campsites were a ways from here as well.
