The Trial of Billy Jack is a 1974 Western action film starring Delores Taylor and Tom Laughlin. It is the sequel to the 1971 film Billy Jack and the third film overall in the series. Billy Jack, le héros solitaire qui a marqué le cinéma américain Tom Laughlin a créé et incarné le personnage de Billy Jack, qui apparaît dans quatre films entre 1967 et 1977.
Synopsis. Après avoir purgé une peine de prison, Billy Jack retrouve sa liberté. Métis et vétéran de la guerre du Vietnam, il s’installe dans une réserve en Arizona. Fidèle à ses origines, il se livre à des rites spirituels ancestraux.
Un métis, Billy Jack, se fait le protecteur des étudiants mais ses interventions violentes finissent par en faire un proscrit et il est impuissant à empêcher une attaque armée ordonnée contre l'école par le gouverneur de l'État.
