16 juil. 2024 · Ste Françoise Xavière. (+1917) Fêté le 22 décembre. Françoise-Xavière Cabrini était la treizième enfant d’une famille aisée de la banlieue milanaise. Elle rêvait, comme beaucoup à l’époque, de la Chine. Elle voulait y être missionnaire. Mais en attendant, il lui fallait gagner sa vie.
11 juil. 2024 · Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini was the Italian-born founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart and the first United States citizen to be canonized. She is revered as the patron saint of immigrants.
14 juil. 2024 · St Frances Xavier Cabrini died on 22 December 1917 in the hospital for migrants she herself had built in Chicago. Her mortal remains were later moved to Mother Cabrini High School in New York.
