12 juin 2024 · Answer: Rufus Thomas As dance crazes go "Do the Funky Chicken" never really caught on, however, it was a Number Eighteen hit for Rufus in 1970. 17 juin 2024 · Answer: Do the Funky Chicken Rufus Thomas was one of the all-time-great R&B, blues, funk and soul singers; he carried on gigging and recording well into his seventies. He was a great performer, dressing in odd costumes and putting on a full-powered act - his background as a tap dancer and vaudeville performer helped.
