6 juil. 2024 · 'Rosy-fingered' was used as a title for Dawn in Homer's famous 16th century poem, The Odyssey. He always used this phrase to describe Dawn, and the way she would cast light upon the world. The rays of light from each sunrise looked similar to fingers of pink and red.

Eos would wake each morning to welcome her brother Helios the sun. The Roman equivalent of Eos was Aurora.
