Socialite Evalyn Walsh McLean was his wife. Around 1911, the couple famously paid somewhere between $180,000 to $300,000 for the infamous Hope Diamond.

17 juin 2024 · Trevor Beale, retired chairman of Beales Group – which owns West Lodge Park Hotel in Hadley Wood and The Bell Hotel in Saxmundham – has sadly passed away at the age of 89. Trevor was a consummate hotelier throughout his working life, moving to West Lodge Park Hotel with his parents at the age of 10 in March 1945.
