His tribute is one of 44 episodes about significant figures in the music industry who passed away in 2023. He and Phil Seymour formed the Dwight Twilley Band, and their first single "I'm on Fire," was a surprise hit.

Twilley's third solo album and second on EMI America, Jungle became the singer-songwriter's most successful.
