Lester leaves his family, and jeopardizes his lifestyle and career to be with Kathy. 'House Of Sand And Fog' is a beautifully written novel of personal dysfunction.
Grade: GOOD (3.5 out of 4) House of Sand and Fog is a frustratingly good movie. The reason for the frustration is because the film could have been significantly better. The premise of the movie is stunning, an opportunity to explore two families in financial crisis and the difficulties that come from two very different cultures going head to head.
