At Downe House Muscat we want to ensure that your daughter’s admission to the school is as informative, personal, and straightforward as possible. We are accepting applications for entry in August 2024.
Book an Open Morning. Our Open Mornings are a great opportunity to find out about the School in more depth and meet key members of staff. You will also hear from current pupils who will chat to your family, online or in person, to give you a real sense of what it is like to be a pupil here.

Downe House offers a flexible approach to suit the individual needs of our pupils and their parents. From September 2025, girls will have the choice to join us as full boarders, flexi boarders or day girls – see below.
Lower Fifth and Upper Fifth (age 14 – 16) GCSE and I/GCSE options. Selecting their I/GCSE options gives our students the opportunity to design their own broad and balanced curriculum, containing protected core subjects and allowing for choice from a wide range of subjects.
Life at Downe House. Downe House is a fully active school every day of the week, including evenings and weekends, and every day looks different for every girl, whether they are boarding or day pupils. Downe House life offers warmth, excitement and opportunity.
Ms Hannah Litvack Development Director. As the Development Director, Hannah supports the continued success of fundraising at Downe House. She collaborates with Foundation Trustees, senior leaders and the community as a whole, to deliver our ambitious plans for development, including the future vision for enhancing our estate and increasing our bursary opportunities.
