30 juil. 2010 · All GM horn circuits for Chevelles are the same. The relay has battery power, the ground to close the relay comes from the horn button, through the turn signal switch. Black wire from the TS switch to the relay. At the relay red wire from the battery and a dk green out to the horns.

25 juil. 2020 · The horn relay is grounded through the mounting bolt. The only time it should click is when you press the horn button. The horn button connects to ground which activates the solenoid in the relay to close the contact which powers the horn.
13 déc. 2019 · I've attached a picture of the relay. The blue arrow is the incoming wire from the horns (which are new and work when direct to 12v). The red arrow is for the ground wire coming from the steering column. I've haven't popped the horn button off yet, but everything looks fairly new.
