13 mars 2007 · ★★☆☆☆ Olivier Dahan a fait un film racoleur, amical et apparemment admiratif, qui ne saisit pas le personnage et qui ne fait que raconter quelques anecdotes. Une belle biographie bien interprétée, mais pas un film senti ni vibrant.
Synopsis. As a small child, Edith Piaf is crying on a stoop, near some other children on the streets of Paris. Her mother stands across the alley singing, panhandling for change. Edith's mother writes a letter to her child's father, the contortionist, who is in the trenches of World War 1.
