18 janv. 2023 · The devil’s trap is a mystical symbol used to immobilize and control demons. It is similar to a circle of salt but more powerful and persistent as it is usually etched or painted in place, and can't simply be brushed or blown away.
Enochian sigils belong to a type of magic that originated from the Enochian language. Both demons and angels have knowledge of the sigils, although the use originated from the latter. This branch of magic is heavily reliant on use of runes derived from the eponymous language of the angels.
The only symbol I recognize is the "Pentacle", the 5-pointed circled star. Wikipedia's entry covers that pretty thoroughly. I don't recognize any of the 5 "insert" designs, nor the lower two "glyphs" as anything historical. The lower left symbol brings to mind a "Dreamcatcher", which seems appropriate in context but is entirely subjective.

Sigils appear to range from Hermetic, astrological, alchemical, Honorian / Theban, Kabbalistic and Enochian. If warding sigils are altered in any way, no matter how slight, they are rendered useless. However, Meg tracks them down and attacks, but is quickly caught underneath a mystical symbol known as a "devil's trap" that the Winchesters and Bobby had painted on the ceiling; it renders demons immobile and powerless.
