28 mars 2024 · One of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen’s long-held ambitions has been achieved with the acquisition of ‘Le miroir vivant’ by René Magritte. ‘ Le miroir vivant ’ was made in 1928 by the Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte and is one of his early works.

In 2022, the Depot will host the new exhibition series Le Miroir Vivant, annually inviting an international artist to make use of the Depot’s exhibition space, collection and expertise to create and present new work.
