Salvatore Phillip Bono, dit Sonny Bono, né le 16 février 1935 à Détroit et mort le 5 janvier 1998 à South Lake Tahoe des suites d'un accident de ski, est un chanteur (il forme le duo Sonny and Cher avec Cher), acteur et homme politique américain membre du Parti républicain.
In partnership with his second wife, Cher, he formed the singing duo Sonny & Cher. A member of the Republican Party, Bono served as the 16th mayor of Palm Springs, California, from 1988 to 1992, and served as the U.S. representative for California's 44th district from 1995 until his death in 1998.
