Ronald David Wood (born 1 June 1947) [1] is an English rock musician, best known as an official member of the Rolling Stones since 1975, as well as a member of Faces and the Jeff Beck Group . Wood began his career in 1964, playing lead guitar with several British rhythm and blues bands in short succession, including the Birds [2] and the Creation.
Few can claim to have had as stellar, or diverse, a career as Ronnie Wood. A two-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (with the Rolling Stones and the Faces), he has played in some of the most influential rock groups of all time and guested with a who’s who of British music.
