30 janv. 2024 · The Aquarium in Quebec City is open all year round. Both pavilions are open in winter. All the outdoor animals can be seen in winter too, including the polar bears, seals, arctic foxes and owls. The outdoor playgrounds and hebertism trails get covered in snow in winter so they’re not accessible.
Observe close to 10,000 specimens of native and exotic fish, amphibians, invertebrates, as well as marine mammals including polar bears, seals and arctic foxes. Also enjoy the hebertism track and the water games for children in summer.

Outside, habitats shelter such mammals as polar bears, seals and arctic foxes. The main pavilion houses 10,000 fish and invertebrates, 300 of which can be seen as visitors walk through an acrylic tunnel surrounded by 350,000 litres (92,470 U.S. gallons) of saltwater.

The Artika polar adventure is back at the Aquarium, just in time for the summer season. As of May 18, 2024, you'll once again be able to discover the beauties of the Arctic, through our immersive projection. A new ice sculpture will also make its appearance in our polar container.
