  1. 30 juin 2024 · After owning it for about 2 months, a problem has started to occur; the amp will sound super muddy and bassy upon turning it on, then with the slightest tap of the amp (or any movement of the amp) all the bass is cut out and the amp sounds extremely bright and very treble heavy.

  2. 20 juin 2024 · Say what you will about tube amps (and I agree, I love them too), but the Roland JC-120 is one heck of a great solid state amp. I play a lot through a Fender Princeton Chorus which is kinda/sorta Fender’s take on a JC amp and it’s quite nice too, especially for the price.

This is one of the very last silverface Fenders, in late 1980 they moved to blackface style cosmetics and shortly after that the Princeton Reverb was replaced by the Princeton Reverb II. This amp is SUPER clean, no tears in the grille or Tolex rips.
