Alfonso Williamson [1] (March 21, 1931 [2] – June 12, 2010) [3] [4] was an American cartoonist, comic book artist and illustrator specializing in adventure, Western, science fiction and fantasy . Born in New York City, he spent much of his early childhood in Bogotá, Colombia before moving back to the United States at the age of 12.

Né le 21 mars 1931 à New York, Al Williamson passe son enfance à Bogota. De retour aux États-Unis, il suit les cours de dessin dispensés par Burne Hogarth et l'assiste même sur quelques planches de Tarzan.
Al Williamson, né en 1931, est décédé le 12 juin ; Victor de la Fuente, né en 1927, est mort le 7 juillet.
