Cadwaladr ap Cadwallon (also spelled Cadwalader or Cadwallader in English) was king of Gwynedd in Wales from around 655 to 682. Two devastating plagues happened during his reign, one in 664 and the other in 682; he himself was a victim of the second.

Cadwaladr first appears in the historical record in 1136, when following the killing of the lord of Ceredigion, Richard Fitz Gilbert de Clare, he accompanied his brother Owain Gwynedd in an invasion of Ceredigion.
8 juin 2018 · Cadwaladr (d. 664), Welsh king. Son of Cadwallon who devastated Northumbria before being killed by King Oswald in 634, Cadwaladr himself suffered a serious defeat by the West Saxons at Pinhoe near Exeter in 658.
He stood at the side of his brother in the great assembly of Welsh chiefs at Corwen in 1165 and aided him in the capture in 1167 of the castles of Rhuddlan and Prestatyn. Cadwaladr survived Owain and died 29 February 1172.
