Seth Holt (21 July 1923 – 14 February 1971) was a Palestinian-born British film director, producer and editor. His films are characterized by their tense atmosphere and suspense, as well as their striking visual style.

Dans l'Égypte antique, la reine Tera ( Valerie Leon) se fait couper la main par des prêtres juste avant d'être enfermée dans son sarcophage mortuaire. La main coupée est ensuite jetée aux chacals du désert.
