Francis E. Butler (bapt. Tooltip baptised January 30, 1847 – November 21, 1926) was an Irish American marksman who performed in Wild West variety shows. He developed a shooting act with his performing partner John Graham, and when Graham fell ill the sharpshooter Annie Oakley stood in for him.

Frank Butler was a shooter and showman who met and married Annie Oakley in 1876. He helped her build her career, managed her finances, and supported her causes until his death in 1926.

In Annie Oakley. …shooting match in Cincinnati with Frank E. Butler, a vaudeville marksman. They were married (probably in 1876), and until 1885 they played vaudeville circuits and circuses as “Butler and Oakley” (she apparently took her professional name from a Cincinnati suburb).
