12 déc. 2022 · In 2005, Rajo Singh was shot dead, allegedly by the Ashok Mahto gang, to avenge the 2001 killings of the RJD men. Lodha caught the two Mahtos, first Pintu and then Ashok, in 2006. In 2010, Sanjay Singh, by then a former minister, died of a heart attack soon after being convicted in the 2001 case.
A Sheikhpura court on Friday acquitted all the accused of killing former Congress MP Rajo Singh on September 9, 2005 due to lack of sufficient evidence against them. Singh, the then Begusarai MP, was gunned down in the district Congress office at Sheikhpura.
