José Delfín Fernández Gómez (July 31, 1992 – September 25, 2016) was a Cuban-born American professional baseball pitcher who played four seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was a member of the Miami Marlins from 2013 until his death in 2016.

16 mars 2017 · A report by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission found that Fernandez was the probable operator of a speeding boat that hit a jetty in Miami Beach in 2016, killing him and two others. The report also revealed that Fernandez and the other occupants had alcohol and cocaine in their system.
