Irakere is one of Cuba’s most influential bands. Founded in 1973, Irakere created a sound that mixed jazz, European traditional music, rock, funk with the rhythmic Cuban tradition, enriched with Afro-Cuban and electronic influences.
« IRAKERE » poursuit ses tournées et obtient un immense succès en Angleterre, en Espagne, en 1996; joue à Cuba avec le brésilien Ivan Lins avec un enregistrement live à la clé et part pour le Brésil où est enregistré « Boleros Inigualables ».
