Karmina est une comédie dramatique de Gabriel Pelletier sortie en 1996. Ce film est le premier film québécois faisant appel à des effets spéciaux [1] et est considéré au Québec comme un film culte [2].

Karmina, a 140-year-old vampire, has been promised to Vlad by her family. She flees Transylvania to take refuge with her aunt in Montreal. After drinking a mysterious potion that returns her to human form for a while, she falls in love with Philippe, a young organist.
The film stars Isabelle Cyr as Karmina, a vampire from Transylvania who runs away to live with her aunt Esméralda (France Castel) in Quebec to escape an arranged marriage to Vlad (Yves Pelletier).
