Bell of Purity Temple (simplified Chinese: 清凉寺的钟声; traditional Chinese: 清涼寺的鐘聲; pinyin: qīng liáng sì de zhōng shēng) is a 1992 Chinese film about the life of a Japanese infant deserted in China after Sino-Japanese War.

Bell of Purity Temple. ( 1991 ) Qing liang si zhong sheng. After the defeat of Japan in WWII, a Japanese infant was abandoned in China during the chaotic evacuation out of China. An impoverished Chinese family found the infant and raised him as their own through series of tragedy and hardships.
