She comes to suspect that the nurse who took care of her parents was involved in their deaths, but since the nurse is well thought of in the town, no one believes her.
An economical thriller but so derivative of Daphne du Maurier adaptations that it is inescapably predictable. American actress Mona Freeman gives a strained, shrill performance but Jean Kent plays an entertainingly creepy villain, providing the film with an arch air of menace.
