Majed Mashaan Ghanem Moqed (Arabic: ماجد موقد, romanized: Mājad Mūqad; 18 June 1977 – 11 September 2001) was a Saudi terrorist hijacker who was one of five hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77 as part of the 11 September attacks in 2001.

Majed Moqed was a muscle hijacker of Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11. He was born in Saudi Arabia, trained in Afghanistan, and volunteered to be a suicide operative for al-Qaeda.
11 sept. 2021 · Majed Moqed was one of the 19 hijackers who flew American Airlines Flight 175 into the south tower of the World Trade Center. He was recruited by al Qaeda along with Satam al Suqami in Saudi Arabia and trained in Afghanistan.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, the five hijackers arrived at Washington Dulles International Airport. At 07:15 AM ET, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Majed Moqed checked in at the American Airlines ticket counter for Flight 77, arriving at the passenger security checkpoint a few minutes later at 07:18.
He moved out of his New Jersey apartment on September 1, and was photographed four days later using an ATM with fellow hijacker Majed Moqed in Laurel, Maryland, where all five Flight 77 hijackers had purchased a 1-week membership in a local Gold's Gym.
