Newman Haynes Clanton (c. 1816 – August 13, 1881), also known as "Old Man" Clanton, was a cattle rancher and father of four sons, one of whom was killed during the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Two of his sons were involved in multiple conflicts in Cochise County, Arizona Territory including stagecoach robbery and cattle rustling.

23 sept. 2019 · Newman Haynes Clanton, AKA "Old Man" Clanton (c. 1816 - August 13, 1881) was a successful cattle rancher and the father of the four sons. "Old Man" Clanton was believed to be involved with stealing cattle from Mexican ranchers and re-selling them in the United States.
When Newman Haynes Clanton was born in 1816, in Davidson, Tennessee, United States, his father, Henry L. Clanton, was 32 and his mother, Mary Browning Haley, was 26. He married Mariah Sexton Kelso on 2 January 1840, in Callaway, Missouri, United States.
