[1] It is a professional art school and has been accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design since 1952.

The Herron School of Art and Design is Indiana’s oldest and largest art school, now part of iupui. Through its faculty, students, alumni, facilities, and programs, Herron School of Art has defined and shaped the visual arts culture of Indianapolis for a century.
Myers also presently has two other exhibitions on view at The Akron Museum of Art and the Herron School of Art and Design. "Land Jam" is on view at the Akron Art Museum through May 12th and "Materialize" is on view at The Herron School of Art & Design through January 13th.
