Abdullah ibn Muhammad (arabe : عبدالله بن محمد) également connu sous le nom de Tahir ibn Muhammad (Tahir = "pur/pur") ou encore Tayib ibn Muhammad est un fils de Mahomet, né de l'union entre Mahomet et Khadija bint Khuwaylid.

Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim was born in Mecca about the year 570, and his birthday is believed to be in the month of Rabi' al-Awwal. He belonged to the Banu Hashim clan of the Quraysh tribe, which was a dominant force in western Arabia.
