PPAS is a small, personalized public school in Manhattan that offers a rigorous academic curriculum and professional training in dance, drama, musical theater, vocal and instrumental music. Students can audition for admission and pursue college-level courses, AP classes, and various arts partnerships and opportunities.
The Professional Performing Arts School, colloquially known as PPAS, is a public middle and high school specializing in the performing arts, located in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.
Today, the Ohio Theatre is home to the Columbus Symphony, BalletMet, and Broadway in Columbus, and also hosts CAPA-presented performances, as well as a wide variety of touring artists and shows each year. Our audiences experience world-class performing arts of all genres from every corner of the world right in their own backyards!
