L’université de Malte (en anglais : University of Malta ; en maltais : L-Università ta' Malta) est la plus haute institution d’enseignement de Malte.
Lying at the cross-roads of the Mediterranean, UM has been, over its 400-year history, the hub for international academic exchange on the island. UM is the leading higher education institution in Malta and its structures are in line with the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education area.
The Valletta Campus, which is housed in the Old University Building, dates back to the founding of the Collegium Melitense in 1592. This Campus serves as a prestigious setting for the hosting of international conferences, seminars, short courses and summer schools.

L’université de Malte est la plus haute institution d’enseignement de Malte. Issue de l'expansion du collège jésuite de Malte lorsque les Jésuites en furent expulsés (1768) elle regroupe aujourd'hui 14 facultés, ainsi que des instituts interdisciplinaires et une école des arts du spectacle.
The University of Malta is a public university in which undergraduate students from Malta and the European Union who qualify for admission may go for free. It traces its roots back to 1592, with the founding of the Collegium Melitense by the Jesuits.
