Joan de Beauchamp, Baroness Bergavenny (née FitzAlan; 1375 – 14 November 1435) was an English noblewoman, and the wife of William de Beauchamp, 1st Baron Bergavenny of the Welsh Marches.

She became the first wife of Edward Neville, 3rd Baron Bergavenny (d. 1476) before 18 October 1424. He was a younger son of Ralph de Neville, 1st Earl of Westmorland and Joan Beaufort, Countess of Westmorland, daughter of John of Gaunt and his third wife, Katherine Roët, aka Katherine Swynford.
26 avr. 2022 · Joan de Beauchamp was born in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales in 1396, the daughter of William de Beauchamp, 1st Baron Bergavenny and Lady Joan FitzAlan (1375- 14 November 1435). She had a brother Richard de Beauchamp, 1st Earl of Worcester, 2nd Baron Bergavenny ( born before 1397- 18 March 1422).
When Countess Joan de Beauchamp was born in 1396, in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, her father, William Beauchamp, was 53 and her mother, Joan FitzAlan, was 21. She married James Butler IV Earl of Ormond on 28 August 1413, in King's Stanley, Gloucestershire, England.
She was suo jure Baroness Burghersh and, but for the attainder, she would have been suo jure Baroness le Despenser. She married William Beauchamp, K.G., 1st Lord Bergavenny, son of Sir Thomas de Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick, and Katherine de Mortimer, before 1390. They had one son and two daughters: Richard, K.B., Earl of Worcester
Joan Butler (née Beauchamp), Countess of Ormond (1396 – 3 or 5 August 1430) was the first wife of James Butler, 4th Earl of Ormond, and the mother of his five children. Their principal residence was Kilkenny Castle in Ireland.
