Ernest Manning High School opened in 1963 at a cost of close to 3.5 million dollars. The school is named after the eighth premier of Alberta, Ernest Manning. It opened with 1400 students and by the mid 1970's, grew to 1700 students.
Ernest Manning High School is a public senior high school located in the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, south of the Bow River. The school falls under the jurisdiction of the Calgary Board of Education.
