Never before released, this 74-minute CD contains 12 tracks recorded live during two gigs at the Montmartre jazz club in Copenhagen in 1965 and 1966. Except for one original composition by Webster, the repertoire on the CD consists of standards, almost half of which are ballads.

Recorded January, 1965 - May 1966. Featuring Ben Webster (ts), Kenny Drew (p), Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen (b) and Alex Riel (dr). The music on this CD was previously unreleased and is drawn from two live sessions at the Montmartre in Copenhagen.

Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, dit NHØP, est un contrebassiste danois de jazz, né le 27 mai 1946 à Osted, sur l'île de Zélande au Danemark. Il meurt le 19 avril 2005 à Copenhague d'une crise cardiaque.
The Montmartre was a regular stop-off for touring American Jazz stars, and as a member of the house band, the young Ørsted Pedersen performed with saxophonists such as Booker Ervin, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, Rahsaan Roland Kirk and Stan Getz, and pianist Bill Evans, with whom he toured in Europe in 1965.
Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen (27 May 1946 – 19 April 2005) was a Danish jazz double bassist.
