As a Specialist Performing and Visual Arts School, we are developing a lifelong passion for the arts in our students and are nurturing the next generation of artists, dancers, actors, designers, musicians and journalists.
The Norwood School is a diverse, dynamic and successful school offering inspiring opportunities for our students. We pride ourselves on being a school where every child is known, supported and celebrated from ages 11-18.
The Norwood City School District consists of Norwood High School, Norwood Middle School, Sharpsburg Elementary, Norwood View Elementary, Williams Avenue Elementary, and Norwood Preschool. The current high school opened as a state-of-the-art facility in 1972, with a planetarium, greenhouse, swimming pool, and television studio.
