Salih Zeki Bey (1864, Istanbul – 1921, Istanbul) was an Ottoman mathematician, astronomer and the founder of the mathematics, physics, and astronomy departments of Istanbul University. He was sent by the Post and Telegraph Ministry to study electrical engineering at the École Polytechnique in Paris.

Salih Zeki was one of the most important mathematicians of the late Ottoman period. He was the founder of the mathematics, physics, and astronomy departments of Istanbul University and was also one of the first modern Turkish scholars to undertake research on the history of science in Turkey.
Matematik ve fizik bilgini (D. 1864, İstanbul - Ö. 14 Temmuz 1921, İstanbul). Yoksul bir ailenin oğlu olarak dünyaya geldi. Kastamonu’nun Boyabat ilçesinden Hasan Ağa ile Saniye Hanımın oğludur. 1901’de evlendiği romancı Halide Edip Adıvar’ın ilk eşiydi.
