The Gathering is the first of six Babylon 5 TV movies. It is set in 2257, one year prior to the events of Babylon 5 Season One. The movie aired on February 22, 1993.
The Gathering is a special case because it was shot and mastered on 4:3 video and a widescreen master was never created (unlike the rest of B5). To get The Gathering in full widescreen at all is only possible by going back to the original film footage and re-editing the episode from scratch.
