1 mai 2000 · To know Gurf Morlix, let’s start with his name: “If you were a policeman I might have to give you a different answer,” he admits, “but of course it’s my real name. It’s me; it’s who I am.” The name came to the man-who-would-be-Gurf when he was 14, a suburban kid of the ’60s living outside Buffalo, New York.

Gurf Morlix (born 1951) is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. Career. Born in Buffalo, New York, Morlix moved to Texas in 1975 and performed with Blaze Foley. He moved to Los Angeles in 1981 and joined Lucinda Williams 's band.
As the song goes on you gotta think, is the song about a relationship gone bad, or a planet dealing with pollution, climate change, and other dangers? Powering the song is Gurf’s electric blues playing which thankfully, continues for an extended period and its interplay with Red Young’s great or-gan work, and Richards’ drumming.
